Aviva Fund - Back Together Again Workshops

YPWD Berkshire  is looking to secure grant funding from the Aviva Community Fund to run “Back Together Again” workshops for our service users to help them to get back together socially again after restrictions are slowly lifted.  In this way we can reintroduce them to face-to-face activities in a socially relaxed and interesting manner while also generating a comfortable return towards a semblance of life as it was before lockdown.

We are aiming to raise £2,500 which will fund several workshops across East and West Berkshire, with all donations that we get from this appeal ring-fenced towards the goal. We are currently planning the precise nature of the activities but it will be within Government guidelines and could range from walking sessions to gardening projects, from art and craft to self-awareness sessions.

To kickstart the campaign we would like to encouarge some “early-adopter” donations before the Aviva employees themselves get to donate from 11 May onwards.  Each Aviva employee has a £25 donation which they can allocate to any of the projects being hosted by Aviva (of which ours is one) and the way to generate their interest is for a proportion of the funds required to already be donated by our own friends.  So, if you feel like being an early-adopter to help us to create this interest, please click on the link below when it goes live on May 5 and make your donation!

Every penny donated will come to the charity and will be put to great use for those living with Young Onset Dementia.  Thanks in advance!
