Celebrating the No Event, Event

Unfortunately our annual Christmas Concert has fallen victim to this year's pandemic, like so many other live events across the country and around the world.  This annual event allows the charity to not only highlight the work that it does across Berkshire, but it gives our friends living with dementia and their carers the opportunity to publicly perform a catalogue of songs to the general public. It is an event full of joy, fun and excitement.

We have thought about what we could do to try and deliver this unique event in 2020, however simply putting it online won't capture the spectacle or impact of live performance by so many and the buzz that it brings to everyone. Instead, we've decided to ask our friends, families and the British public to join us in celebrating the No Event, Event. 

The No Event, Event gives us a chance to highlight how sad it is that we cannot hold our brilliant festive concert, while asking everyone we know to consider making a £10 text donation to acknowledge this No Event, Event.  As guests haven't had to buy tickets, or a new outfit, interval drinks or a turn at the raffle, we're hoping that everyone is generous enough to make a donation that will continue our support for younger people living with dementia, and their carers into 2021.
