Diary dates for December

Don’t miss out on two upcoming events being hosted by YPWD during December as we count down to Christmas.

Christmas Concert

Come and join us for the Christmas Concert at the Whitty Theatre on December 10, from 7pm.  This promises to be a fabulously festive evening with something for everyone.

This is our 8th concert and it will feature the charity's very own Harmony Choir, with a membership made up of people with Young Onset Dementia, carers, volunteers and staff. This year the choir will be joined by the very talented saxophone group, Saxcelerate and magnificent musical duo Blue Turning Grey who are being joined by Kitty for a couple of numbers.

We'll also have some budding poets within the choir putting together a rhyme or limerick to add another dimension to the concert.

There will be an interval at which guests will be able to buy drinks and mince pies, plus a raffle to win lots of amazing prizes, while supporting YPWD.

This will be a wonderful start to the festive season and we look forward to seeing you all there.

Christmas Pop-in

We all enjoy a catch up during the Christmas season, with a festive drink in one hand, some nibbles in the other and a bit of Nat King Cole on the radio.

With that in mind we’d like to invite you to pop-in to Indigo House on December 20, between 11am and 2pm to spend a bit of time with us at YPWD having a drink and a catch up on the last Friday before the big day.

There will be festive drinks on offer, nibbles and mince pies and there will also be Christmas music a plenty. And if you’ve got one, feel free to wear your favourite Christmas jumper.

If you’d like to pop-in could you email your interest to contact@ypwd.info so we can make sure that there are enough mince pies to go around, thank you!

See you there.
