Join the Berkshire Empowerment Group

The Empowerment Group meets regularly from 2pm to 4pm on the third Monday of the month at the Alzheimer’s Society in London Street, Reading. It is a friendly and informal group which gets together over a cuppa to discuss a range of topics relating to dementia, with the aim of improving the lives of people living with dementia.

If you would like to become part of this engaging group and have your say, or would like to learn a bit more, please contact the group’s coordinator, Louise Keane at the Alzheimer’s Society by calling: 0118 959 6482 or emailing her at: Louise.Keane@alzheimers.org.uk

I have in the past been involved in the Alzheimer’s Society’s Empowerment Group with the lovely Louise and I am delighted to be re-joining the group next Monday. I look forward to bringing you more news about the group’s activities and being there for a bit of extra support, should you wish to ‘give it a go’!   Who better to look at how we can all help enable those with dementia to live life well than the people living with the condition themselves!
