We are looking for two brilliant people to join our team of Young Dementia Project Workers.

We provide workshops and 1:1 support for younger people with dementia across Berkshire. Some of the activities that we do in the community are katakanuing, singing, walking, running, book groups and art. During the pandemic we have also created a unique range of imaginative online services too. Let’s just say your life will never be dull as we’re looking for you to help to plan and deliver these services. You are going to need to have initiative, an interest in dementia, be reliable, creative, fun and caring. 

Young onset dementia affects adults of 65 years and below.  Nationally there are about 42,000 people with young onset dementia. Across Berkshire there are estimated to be 500 people with young onset dementia living at home or in care homes.
