Join us at the No Event, Event! online music gig
As many of you already know our 2020 Christmas Concert did not go ahead. This was a similar experience for many other charity and voluntary organisations throughout the UK. Not only is the concert a fantastic way to bring people with dementia, and their carers onstage to perform, it also highlights Young Onset Dementia to the general public, and it is also an opportunity for the charity to raise donations that go towards providing our services to people living with Young Onset Dementia and their carers.
We haven't rested on our laurels however, and with the help of Music Made Fearless (also known as the YPWD Choir Mistress Brie Findlay), we will be holding an online music gig on Friday 29 January 2021, from 7:30pm. This will be in aid of YPWD.
The concert will feature a range of fun, cheesy tunes, along with some classics for everyone to join in with, while dancing around their dining room, and kickstepping around their kitchen. The gig will also include a performance of the YPWD song 'You & I' which has been specially written for the charity by Brie Findlay.
Everyone is welcome to join this unique event. Please do come along, and share it with as many others as you can.
